Brent has a pivotal role within Stevenson Concrete. He is tasked with ensuring that his market knowledge leads to the development of products and services that our customers will require. This means Brent understands every aspect of the concrete supply chain, from dispatch to delivery and aftercare service.
To fulfill the requirements of the role Brent spends a lot of his day with our customers. Not that he’s complaining – far from it.
“I enjoy strategizing with customers around major commercial applications and coming up with solutions to problems, which might mean developing new design mixes or getting them into unusual places. The recent Okahu Bay boat ramp upgrade project included challenges such as overcoming the technical issues involved with resurfacing the ramp and at the same time working with changing tides and an operational boat yard.”
Brent is always keen to lend a hand. So when Ronald McDonald House contacted him for assistance to complete their Peaceful Garden, he quickly mobilized a team to pump and place the concrete donated by Stevenson Concrete. As Brent says, “It was a team effort and we will continue to work with the great people at Ronald McDonald House.”
Outside of work, Brent keeps active by either cycling, walking to the beach, swimming, surfing or just going to the gym.
