Pervious concrete is a special type of concrete with a high porosity used for concrete work applications that allows water to pass through, thereby reducing the runoff from a site and allowing groundwater recharge or peak flowwater retention. The high porosity is through an interconnected voids between the aggregate particles. Typically pervious concrete has little or no fine aggregate and enough cement paste to coat the aggregate particles while preserving the interconnectivity of the voids.

Testing include product data: MPa 20.0 MPa  Voids Content 25%
Application conditions: Approved placer with the correct equipment to facilitate compaction and curing

Applications:

Situations requiring storm water management. Pervious concrete helps decrease flow rates and the volume of heavy rain catchment run off water. Pervious concrete can be used in footpaths, cycle ways, parking areas, driveways and most hardstand areas.
